Samford#1 Leslie Patrick Park, ARANA HILLS

On the cusp of the Moreton Bay Region, Leslie Patrick Park is conveniently located next to the Hills District Community Centre and fenced dog park on Dawson Parade. The park is also central to a busy shopping precinct, dining options, sports clubs and schools. Footpaths connect this precinct together, which cycling-loving families can take advantage of.

#2 Edward Allison Park, EATONS HILL

A hidden treasure, Edward Allison Park is the place to take your family if you love splashing around in creeks and waterways. Situated along the banks of Cedar Creek, this park is great fun for boulder hopping, rock skimming, dam building and leaf boat racing. Younger children will love sorting through the many different coloured rocks, whilst older children will thrive on exploring the nooks and crannies of the creek bank.

George Willmore Park Ferny Hills Hills District Near Brisbane 35

#3 George Willmore Park, FERNY HILLS

Centrally located in the suburb of Ferny Hills, George Willmore Park is conveniently located next to the Ferny Hills Swimming Pool. The large grassy park, not only has a playground, but also a cricket pitch and nets, gazebo and a main stage that is used for the annual Hills Christmas Carols.

A footpath surrounds the perimeter of the park, perfect for little ones learning to ride a bike.

#4 Bunyaville Conservation Park, BUNYA

Part of the Bunyaville State Forest, this park is a nature lovers paradise, with bushy surrounds and lots of native wildlife. It is also home to the Bunyaville Environmental Education Centre, an educational facility for schools.

Families can enjoy a day of nature spotting in the main picnic area, or off-road BMX riding with older children through the parks network of bike friendly tracks.

Boundary Park In Everton Hills Hills District Near Brisbane 5

#5 Boundary Park, Everton Park

Nestled against the corner of Camelia Avenue and Galeola Street, Boundary Park can provide hours of entertainment. There is a giant web shaped climbing frame, for starters, providing action and adventure for all skill levels. For the littler kids, the main play area has ladders to climb up and fire poles to slide down. As well as swings and a slide, there is also a fun miniature spinner and motorcycle shaped rocker.
