If you’re looking for things to do in Caboolture and surrounding areas then pop into the Caboolture Historical Village’s Visitor Information Centre, located right next door to QSEC, off Tuckeroo Drive in Caboolture.

The Visitor Information Centre is found right by the front entry to Caboolture Historical Village – a nostalgic Village situated on 4 hectares of land just north of Caboolture’s town centre along the old Bruce Highway.

The town is filled with over 70 buildings and more than 110,000 museum pieces preserved from Caboolture’s past, in remembrance of the town’s origins.

What you will inside Caboolture Visitor Information Centre

The Centre offers FREE Wi-Fi and is stocked full of tourist information, maps, brochures, and itineraries covering many local attractions and places of interest throughout the region.

It is staffed by skilled and knowledgeable local volunteers who can provide tips on sights to see, where to eat, and what to do in Moreton Bay Region’s Caboolture township and surrounding areas.

Step into the Past

Once you’ve collected all the information you require, step out of the Centre into Caboolture’s vestige of bygone times for a stroll through local history.

Caboolture Historical Village’s street consists of Caboolture’s old post office, barber, butcher and general store – fragments of the past sure to bring back memories for many visitors. The Village also features the old Caboolture Hospital, several cottages that were moved from various sites around Caboolture, the old Caboolture Railway Station, an exhibition from the Queensland Prison’s Museum, as well as a popular exhibit displaying models of First Fleet ships arriving in Sydney in 1788.
