In addition to mindfully sourced produce for a better taste and a stronger Australia, the pizza dough is hand-stretched and made to order using natural ingredients, the bread is baked locally and made fresh daily, and the tomatoes used for Napoli sauce, pizza’s and pastas are imported directly from Italy. Starting on the streets of Melbourne in the summer of 1998, The Groove Train founder, Rocky Veneziano, saw a lack of flavourful, bold dishes that appealed to any and all appetites. Envisioning how he would close this gap in the Melbourne foodie scene, Rocky saw a place where people came for the food but lingered over drinks and conversation because everyone was having too much fun to leave. After making his vision a reality, the idea caught on and today there are over 20 Groove Train restaurants across Melbourne and up to Brisbane.
