The Surf Club Bribie Island

2 First Avenue, Woorim

The Surf Club Bribie Island is located at the water’s edge on the stunning Woorim Beach, Bribie Island. With these sensational waterfront views it’s no wonder visitors always leave smiling, and the surf club’s reputation as one of the best spots in Queensland continues to grow.

First established in 1922, The Bribie Island Surf Club is one of the oldest Surf Life Saving Clubs in Australia.

In 1979, the Surf Club was destroyed by fire. When the time came to rebuild, the members of the club voted to create a venue that would utilise its unique position, but always retain the essence of what makes this club special. The Surf Club maintains its grass roots feel, while focusing on exceptional service, delicious meals and value for money… resulting in an admirable reputation that stretches from Cairns to Tasmania and beyond!

The Bribie Island Surf Life Saving Club plays an important role in the local community. Our Supporters Club is tasked with funding the continuation of the volunteer surf lifesaving on Bribie Island. This ensures that our beach is always safe for everyone to enjoy. We are able to achieve this by constantly endeavouring to provide the best in food and service for all our members, guests, and visitors. This success enables us to We achieve this through striving to provide the best in food and service for our members, guests and visitors, thus enabling us to provide the necessary financial support that our volunteers require.
