The Abbey Medieval Banquet offers medieval food and entertainment at its finest.
Prepare yourself for an immersive experience, filled with medieval entertainment, mouth-watering culinary delights, and an enchanting atmosphere.
The night begins with a ritual hand washing with scented rosewater, followed by Lord Steward guiding you through the manners and customs of medieval banquet dining.
Friendly dancers, jesters and musicians take guests back in time with their endless entertainment.
Under the protection of Staraya Ladoga, the guard of the banquet hall, guest then spend the night feasting, drinking, and being merry.
The banquet consists of two removes, also known as courses, both consisting of many sweet and savoury dishes that are shared between all guests at the table, and then a final course, called an issue, consisting of cheese, fruits and nuts.

The Abbey Medieval Banquet is held at St Michael’s College in Caboolture, on the 29th of June and again on the 6th of July.
