For over 20 years, Bribie Islanders have enjoyed witnessing Classic Boats, large and small, flocking to the Pumicestone Passage for a weekend of messing about in Boats and general fun on our fantastic waterway.

The event program is as follows:


  • 07:30 – 09:00 Launch of Boats at Spinnaker Sound Ramp.
  • 10:00 -12:00 Watch the Pumiceston Passage Cruise from Spinnaker Sound Marina and Banksia Beach
  • 12:00-14:00 Inspect the boats & meet the owners at Toorbul
  • 15:00 – 17:00 Public viewing at Pacific Harbour Star Marina


  • 07:30 – 09:00 Launch of Boats at Spinnaker Sound Ramp.
  • 9:30 View the boats as they cruise Pacific Harbour Canal
  • 10:30 – 13:30 Public Viewing at Sylvan beach of the following activities
    • Market stalls
    • Sailing races
    • Motor time trials
    • Outrigger Canoes
    • Rowboats
    • Prizes awarded to the Best Dressed Boats & Crews, Pride of the Fleet
13:00 – Grand Parade at Sylvan Beach: All vessels form a parade before leaving for home

Entry is open to all old and new classic and timber boat owners. Come along for a great weekend.

A Free night at Pacific Harbour marina is available for participants (Sat.) and discounted berthing rates for extra nights.

There’s a free lunch on Saturday on the beach at Toorbul supported by the Bribie Island Mahalo Outrigger Canoe Club and the Bribie Island Sailing Club and is provided courtesy of the Moreton Bay Regional Council.

For those returning to the Spinnaker Sound ramp on Saturday it’s a pleasant trip after lunch from Toorbul.
