The North and South Pine Rivers have flowed through the Moreton Bay landscape and shaped the lives of many generations. From Indigenous stories to contemporary tales, Lay of the Land will reveal this region’s cultural heritage as documented in early written records, and showcased through objects and images from our collection. Exhibition developed by Moreton Bay Regional Council.

Pine Rivers Heritage Museum encourages visitors to explore the district's historic character. The Pine Rivers region has a rich history of settlement, with pioneer ancestors resettling in waves of migration from the 1850s.
