Bush Christmas (1983), set in Queensland in the early 1950s, tells the tale of the Thompson family who, struggling to keep their farm from foreclosure, place their hopes on their horse, Prince, to win the New Year’s Cup. The film features the landscapes of Beaudesert and the sounds of folk musicians The Bushwackers.
