From trash to treasure, recycled fashion and sustainable living is the way of the future.
Be inspired by current exhibition Beach Couture: A Haute Mess and create your own “trashion gown” these school holidays. In the exhibition, artist Marina DeBris creates wearable pieces made of trash collected from beaches and oceans. Let’s see what you can create with recycled plastics and papers. Completed outfits will be photographed and included in our own “trashion show”.
School holiday program. Free. No bookings required.

About the exhibition
A touring exhibition from artist Marina DeBris. Featuring life-sized wearable pieces made of trash collected from beaches and oceans, this exhibition makes visible, in a grotesquely amusing fashion, what is often overlooked. The works highlight a growing problem - and provoke action.
