The Moreton Bay Region is excited to play host to this annual event being held at Moreton Bay Central Complex (Football Complex), 7th - 9th of November, 2019. There will be lots of great action plus a family fun day!
Visit Moreton Bay Region welcomes the Annual Indigenous Football Tournament which is being held at Moreton Bay Central Sports Complex, Aquatic Centre Drive, Burpengary. This event is a collaboration between the Australian Football Indigenous Corporation (AFIC) and Caboolture Sports Football Club & Football Qld / Football Brisbane
The event is being held from Thursday the 7th to Saturday the 9th of November, 2019. Open Men and Open Women teams from around Australia will come together to share their love of football and play the World game. High profile players will participate such as Adam Sarota, Jade North, George Freeman, Tahj Minniecon, and more. Up to 10 Youth teams and 20 Senior Teams (from Qld, WA, Tas, NT, NSW) will travel to Moreton Bay to take part of this competition. The competition is in a group stage format with a knockout stage then resulting in finals being played on Saturday

The tournament will also feature a Family Fun Day on Saturday 9th November from 9am - 4pm to promote the involvement of the broader Indigenous and non-Indigenous community.
