Have you missed the excitement on weekend markets? Well good news, many markets across the Moreton Bay Region are beginning to reopen, as the COVID-19 restrictions ease further.
We checked in with market organisers across the region to find out who's open now and who's opening in the coming weeks.
If you're keen on sourcing some fresh local produce, browsing arts and crafts and enjoying some market fare, there are a few options in the region.
Redcliffe Farmers and Artisan Markets – open now
Held in an enviable waterfront location with amazing views, live music, a delicious food scene and quality shopping, the Redcliffe Farmers and Artisans Market is a vibrant market for those with discerning taste. For more details, head to the Facebook page.

Redcliffe Showground Markets – open now
This market run by Kippa-Ring Lions Club is on every Sunday from 6am-noon. Access is via Scarborough Rd. For more details, head to the Facebook page.

Samford Valley Markets – reopening June 13
Hosted by St Paul’s Anglican Church this 50-stall market is a whimsical, local institution. With a mountain range backdrop, the enticing smell of fresh baking and the charm of pretty church grounds, Samford Valley is an idyllic Saturday morning outing. The markets will return on June 13 and continue on the second Saturday of the month from 7am-noon. For more details, head to the Facebook page.

Old Petrie Town – markets re-opening June 14, shops open
Known as being the oldest hand-made market in Australia the Petrie Markets have a charming feel and historically-inspired location in Old Petrie Town. Market stalls of old-fashioned goods, fresh produce and yesteryear’s curious are lined alongside old-world inspired bake and lolly stores. The Sunday markets will reopen on June 14 (7am-1pm), but a number of shops have already opened their doors, many trading Wednesday to Sunday, with the Emporium and the hotel open Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Dayboro District Progress Association Markets – reopening July 5
From July 5, markets will be held on the first Sunday of each month at the corner of Williams and Heathwood streets from 8am-noon. For more details, head to the Facebook page.

Burpengary Market – open now
This farmers market reopened on May 30 and is at Burpengary State School, 35 Station Rd, Burpengary, every Saturday from 6am-noon. For more details, head to the Facebook page.

Caboolture Country Markets – reopening June 14
Returning on June 14, the Caboolture Markets are a thriving hub of bargain shoppers, collectable hunters and fresh food junkies. With a country town feel, thousands of people attend this market every week to enjoy coffee, browse the 300 plus stalls and enjoy children’s amusements. Some stalls will be moved around when the market reopens to ensure social distancing measures are adhered to. For more details, head to the Facebook page.

Woodford Country Markets – reopening July 19
You’ll be able to check out your favourite stalls at the markets when they return on July 19. They’ll then be held on the third Sunday of the month from 7am-noon. For more details, head to the Facebook page.

Bribie VIBE Arts/Crafts Market - still closed

Brennan Park markets – still closed
