There's no denying that beach driving is an unforgettable experience, however, it is one which should not be attempted by inexperienced four-wheel drivers. You must also hold the relevant permits to take your vehicle on the sand. Please also be mindful of tidal times as driving at high tide is not recommended and can be very dangerous. Road rules DO APPLY so please drive with care, avoiding sand dunes and keeping an eye out for wildlife.
