Beautiful parks and community spaces

Several popular parks and community spaces exist in Narangba, creating a pleasant link between neighbouring streets and children’s playgrounds. Many of these parks meander along the serene Burpengary Creek, which is home to many native Australian animals. Here's three stand out parks that are worth a look if you have young kids.

Norfolk Lakes Park

Situated on the corner of McKenzie Avenue and McDonald Drive in Narangba, Norfolk Lakes Park is home to ducks and freshwater turtles, which are sure to delight the children. There are plenty of walking and bike paths to explore, as well as areas for barbeques and picnics.

Creekside Corner

One of the most popular parks in the area, Creekside Corner Park is known locally as Spiderman Park for the web-like climbing structures it contains. It offers something for kids of all ages, and backs on to serene bushland, making it a great place to relax with the family with a picnic or a party. It's located on Maidenhair Drive in the Creekside Estate.

Greenway Central

Found at the end of Golden Wattle Drive in Narangba, Greenway Central Park is the perfect spot for a barbeque. It offers a cricket pitch, plenty of areas to kick a ball, picnic tables, a toddler play area, and a large structure for the older kids. By far the biggest attraction to this park, however, is the recently renovated flying fox. Kids are sure to love it.

In the Narangba and Burpengary region, you’ll be spoiled for choice when it comes to shopping!

In Narangba itself, a community shopping village exists on Main Street along with Forrest Ridge, which boasts a Woolworths, bakery, two 24 hour gyms, many fast food options, and the always appealing Narangba Tavern. Similarly, Burpengary Plaza offers the basics for the locals, with a Woolworths, a chemist, several retail outlets and a travel agent.

For a more diverse shopping experience, the nearby North Lakes offers hundreds of specialty shops, most of the major department stores, and a vibrant restaurant and café precinct. A cinema and additional dining options are coming soon.

For a more relaxed vibe, Morayfield Shopping Centre some 15 minutes away, offers hundreds of specialty shops, a diverse Food Hall and a Birch Carroll and Coyle cinema complex. All of your shopping needs are catered for in the Narangba and Burpengary region, so you’re sure to find a bargain!
