Need a break from the bustling city lifestyle? Greene's Falls in Mount Glorious is a beautiful part of the Moreton Bay Region hinterland that you definitely need to put on your bucket list of relaxing and beautiful places to visit!
Set among a beautiful backdrop of ancient Moreton Bay fig trees and heritage buildings, Old Petrie Town in Kurwongbah looks like a page out of a history book. Given both its rustic and natural beauty, it’s no surprise this location serves as a popular picnic and wedding venue.
The early morning mist in Laceys Creek leaves dew scattered across the landscape. It's so beautiful you'd probably just want to curl up with a book and a coffee all morning.
Take a break from the summer heat and explore the Moreton Bay Region hinterland. Head to Northbrook Gorges where you can traverse the southern section of D'Aguilar National Park, immersing yourself in native wildlife and taking you through water holes, over rocks and around boulders. Be sure to bring your A-game, this hike is not for the unfit!

The road to take you anywhere in the Moreton Bay Region hinterland! Mount Samson is a central location to take you to Clear Mountain, where you can enjoy an overnight stay at the lodge on the summit, take a drive out to Cedar Creek, or keep cruising north of Brisbane to Lake Samsonvale.
Take a bushwalk among beautiful rainforest that is part of both D'Aguilar National Park and Brisbane Forest Park at Mount Glorious. With lush green trees and clearly marked pathways that lead to views like this, how could you say no?

Might be worth making it a day trip and exploring more of the D'Aguilar National Park, Mount Mee and Dayboro as this beautiful location is an hour and a half drive north of Brisbane CBD.
FOUND: The perfect spot to escape Mondayitis. This magic location is Rocky Hole and can be accessed via the Mount Mee section of D'Aguilar National Park. We've got a hunch you will not want to leave this place!
One of Brisbane’s most famous picnic spots, Jolly’s Lookout in D’Aguilar National Park is known for its panoramic views and with a shot like this (thanks to @clangclangclangclang) we understand why!
The best part? The well-maintained toilet block is wheelchair accessible with a baby change room also onsite!
