Why not combine history with a little bit of fun? Opening their doors on Easter Sunday, the Caboolture Historical Village is hosting one of the biggest and most popular Easter egg hunts near Brisbane in the Moreton Bay Region. Traverse the grounds where over a century of local history is on display while you search the 12-acre lot for small Easter eggs and the two special gold eggs. Mr and Mrs Easter Bunny will be there to help you look and you can get your photo taken with them in their burrow.
The Easter Egg Hunt is free to all children under 12 years of age, however, an admission price to the Caboolture Historical Village ground still applies
From seaside markets to a mobile waterpark and the old faithful Easter egg hunt, the Moreton Bay Region is busting at the seams (hopefully unlike us after all this chocolate) with Easter events near Brisbane.
