Brisbane Convoy For Kids Truck

Brisbane Convoy for Kids

What: Don’t miss the big trucks when they roll in to Redcliffe during Brisbane Convoy for Kids. They’ll stop at Redcliffe Showgrounds for a family fun day to raise money for Hummingbird House. Enjoy free rides, entertainment and fireworks.

Scene and Heard Festival

What: Return to a time before people cared about ‘likes’, and festival moments weren’t Instagram opportunities but collective memories. Festival line-up includes Wolfmother, The Dandy Warhols, Alex Lloyd, Sneaky Sound System, British India and Gyroscope.

Melbourne Cup At Eatons Hill Hotel Moreton Bay Region Horse Racing

Melbourne Cup

What: It’s the race that stops a nation and it’s also a great excuse to enjoy a gourmet lunch, fashions on the field and some bubbles.

Art Therapy – Tree of Life Creativity

What: Develop a greater sense of curiosity, relaxation and connection as you join art therapist Katherine Winlaw for a creative exploration based on the Tree of Life. Registrations essential.

Exhibition: Catching the Light

What: Featuring works by artist Dale Marsh, this exhibition is a journey through an artist’s eyes. Here you’ll see works from his private collection, new works, as well as familiar pieces. It also reveals one man’s connection to Bribie.

Oh What a Night! The Show

What: Take a trip down memory lane with this theatrical tribute to Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. The show combines the voices of Simon Chamberlain, Carlo Boumouglbay, Jacob Bradford and Jackson Head with explosive choreography and live musicians.

Anzac Day Poppy Field Moreton Bay Region

Remembrance Day

What: We will pause to remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice in serving their country

What: Due to overwhelming demand Bjorn Again return for one final Brisbane show as part of their record-breaking 30th Anniversary World Tour.

Jade Hurley Morning Showcase

Exhibition: Plein-Air Delights

What: Redcliffe artist Barry Kidd believes in the plein-air approach to art — creating spontaneous, authentic and original work. This exhibition will showcase the best of his work, which reflects his passion for no-fuss art.

Birds of Bribie Island

What: Find out how many bird species there are on Bribie Island and where they can be found. Linda Cross will share techniques Birds Queensland and the Queensland Wader Study Group use to document their bird counts. Bookings required.

80s Mania

What: Spike your hair and find your leg warmers or parachute pants and rock out to the biggest hits of the ‘80s. The line-up includes Go West, Pseudo Echo, A Flock of Seagulls, The Cutting Crew and Wang Chung.

Leaving Jackson

What: This show by Jeff Carter and Brooke McMullen brings the lives and music of Johnny Cash and June Carter to the stage.

Caboolture Christmas Carols

RMT 2019 Showcase
