Dolphin Wild Island Cruises

Please note: winter departures run every Wednesday and Saturday only

Moreton Island adventures await on-board Dolphin Wild Island Cruises' 22 metre Supercat!.

Let the knowledgeable and friendly crew treat you to an exciting and scenic day out, cruising the calm waters of Moreton Bay Marine Park, watching for dolphins, swimming in aqua waters, feeding fish, riding boom netting and enjoying a gourmet lunch. Dolphin Wild Island Cruises is an Australian owned, family business and the longest running marine eco-cruise in the Redcliffe and Brisbane area.

As you leave from Newport Marina along the Redcliffe Peninsula making your way towards the island (a 45 minute trip), Dolphin Wild’s resident naturalist will regale you with expert commentary, providing insight into the history of Moreton Island and the species of sea life found within this protected marine habitat. Whales migrate past Moreton Island from June to November and are often seen during this time.

Once in the waters surrounding the island you can join the guided Moreton Island snorkelling and fish feeding tours of the Tangalooma Wrecks, a globally recognised, premier snorkelling destination home to a myriad of diverse marine species.

Guests keen for a rush of adrenaline can also jump into the water for a boom netting ride in the waters of Moreton Island.

A delicious smorgasbord lunch featuring local prawns and tender chicken breast is served aboard the vessel during the tour. All tastes and food allergies are catered for by Dolphin Wild. Morning tea and a tropical fruit platter are also included and an on-board bar is available.

After lunch, guests can explore the Moreton Island, strolling along the beach, soaking up the sun, or just relaxing, before heading back to the mainland.
