Castaways provides breezy, spacious, well-maintained modern units with all the essentials required for an island getaway with family or friends. Each unit can accommodate between 4 and 6 people and features 2 x bedrooms, 1 x bathroom, an open-plan kitchen and dining room with a TV. Linen, bath towels and kitchen utensils (pans, pots, crockery and cutlery) are also provided. The units are conveniently located above the Castaways store.
Things to do on Moreton Island are best enjoyed after a good night’s rest, and where better to enjoy a peaceful sleep than in a Glamping Tent – where nature and comfort meet! Choose between 2 or 4 person glamping tents situated beneath melaleuca trees just 100 metres from Bulwer Beach and a short drive from numerous Moreton Island attractions. Each tent includes a private deck, queen bed, private ensuite with toilet and a hot shower, solar powered lighting, and linen & bath towels.
A communal kitchen is provided for glamping guests. You can store your refrigerated goods in the kitchen, and use the BBQ, microwave and gas stovetop. Tea, coffee and kitchen utensils are also provided and kitchen power points are available for charging electronic devices.
If you’re holidaying with a large group or backpacking with mates you'll find the dormitory-style, bunk bed accommodation ideal. Dormitory accommodation comes with bathroom facilities and a separate open-plan kitchen and dining area with TV and fire pit. Kitchen utensils (pots, pans, cutlery and crockery) are provided and you can pick up a DIY barbecue or bacon & egg breakfast pack from Castaways convenience store.
