Like many of the walk-in bush campsites in D’Aguilar National Park, there are no facilities at the campsite, so packing the necessities is essential. Fitter hikers may choose to tackle the walk in a day, but many people stay overnight at the England Creek Bush Camp. Some people also choose to stop at Northbrook Mountain Bush Camp along the way.
The walk, while long and sometimes challenging, is quite rewarding. The views from sections of the track are breathtaking, and well worth the walk. At certain times of year, there is also some beautiful flora to take in. Native daisies flower along the track in spring to summer, and pink rock orchids and tongue orchids can be seen growing on rock cuttings on Joyners Ridge Road in spring.
The walk to the England Creek walk-in bush camp is fairly well signposted, however it is still necessary to take a topographic map to navigate there. A topographic map and more detailed instructions of this walk can be purchased from the Walkabout Creek Discovery Centre on Mount Nebo Road.
