COVID-19 ALERT: Find out the latest Travel Advice for the Moreton Bay Region.

Ride Electric North Brisbane

Explore more of the magic of the Moreton Bay Region with a hire e scooter, bike or trike.

With hundreds of kilometres of cycle paths across the region, there’s an abundance of places to discover.

The team at Ride Electric North Brisbane are passionate scooters who pride themselves on finding the right electric scooter hire for their customers.

The team have spent countless hours exploring Moreton Bay Region and have first-hand knowledge of the best places to check out – be it on your own motorised wheels or on a hire vehicle.

They also run guided tours and social rides, with a favourite taking riders from their Redcliffe headquarters to a venue for lunch and back.

They even run a courtesy drop off and pick-up service, with a recent group of 15 renting all the Ride Electric hire stock, which was dropped at the Ted Smout Bridge so the riders could find their way to their lunchtime destination.

Then the Ride Electric team collected the gear and the riders for the return journey to Redcliffe – there’s no drinking allowed when you’re riding!

Find your own way on a hire e scooter

A great place to start your hire e scooter journey on the Peninsula is the Moreton Bay Cycleway section that runs from Scarborough to the Ted Smout Bridge.

It’s an easy 11km ride, with million-dollar absolute waterfront views.

Tackle it all in one hit…or plan a more leisurely ride, with plenty of places to stop and soak up the atmosphere and snap a photo or three.

There’s also dozens of cafes and restaurants to visit for a bite to eat and a refreshing beverage.

Dine in, or make the most of nature and grab some takeaway from one of the many seafood shops along the journey and pop over to the foreshore to enjoy a fabulous feast and watch the world go by before resuming your ride.

Zoom along the picturesque foreshore following the path’s winding flow as it snakes its way past the popular Settlement Cove Lagoon.

Toilets are handily placed here, as are others along the route.

    Soak up the history

Next up is the Gayundah Wreck at Scotts Point, beneath the cliffs of Woody Point. You’ll want to grab some photos here too, with surf thrashing through the rusted hull of the once proud Navy warship.

From here it’s a short hop to the Woody Point Jetty, where history buffs will love the storyboards at Jetty Square that transport you back through time with the fascinating milestones of the original structure, which was built in 1888.

The pathway then winds past Crockatt Park with its long flying fox and Pelican Park, which is famous for year-round kite flying, its playgrounds and boat ramp and, of course the pelicans from which it takes its name!

The final outbound stop is the fishing platform at the northern end of the Ted Smout Bridge, where friendly local fishers are only too happy to share the secrets of their daily catch.

Ride Electric North Brisbane has Zero 10 scooters for hire, with generous deck space for a comfortable ride, as well as sleek Riptide E-Bikes and sturdy and stable Electric DC Trikes.

Choose Ride Electric North Brisbane for your next electric scooter hire and start exploring Moreton Bay Region at your own pace.
