If you’re looking for things to do in Samford and surrounding areas then visit Samford Visitor Information Centre.

The Centre is housed within a quaint, purpose built cottage. The cottage was initially located in Strathpine and affectionately known as Daisy Cottage. In 2016 it was moved to John Scott Park to begin its new life as the Samford Visitor Information Centre, run by just over 20 volunteers.

Samford Visitor Information Centre is stocked with a wealth of information, maps, brochures, visitor guides, itineraries and more to help you explore the local township and surrounding areas.

The tourist information hub also offers FREE Wi-Fi!

Things to do in Samford and Surrounds

Samford is home to a Powerful Owl population, and visitors are encouraged to look for these native owls while exploring the area. The Slab Hut Arts and Craft and Samford Museum are also located within John Scott Park making it a great place to stop, relax and gather information on what to do in Moreton Bay Region’s hinterland.
