Know someone who loves live music? If so, bring them along to Scarborough Originals, the new FREE live music Redcliffe peninsula concert series run by East Coast Originals and a team of volunteers.

This recurring Scarborough live music series is family-friendly event held on the first Saturday of each month by the waterside in Scarborough Beach Park, Landsborough Ave.

Bring your mates, family or furry, four legged best friend along to kick-back on the grass (or picnic blanket) in the lush, green foreshore area taking in original tunes from local emerging artists. You’ll be entertained by a variety of musical genres including rock, pop, alternative, soul and more as the park is transformed into a music lover’s paradise.

Food with a View

Attendees are welcome to bring along nibbles and non-alcoholic drinks. You can visit one of the many local cafes and eateries nearby to grab a takeaway meal to enjoy along with the musical fare.

Alternatively, you can dine at one of the many local restaurants before, or after the concert.

A Family & Pet Friendly FREE Live Music Redcliffe Event

The Scarborough live music series caters to both adults and children with face painting available for little ones and live stage art on display for the enjoyment of all ages.

Leashed, furry four-legged family members who are well-behaved in crowds are also welcome to attend.

Scarborough Originals isn’t just about showcasing new music. The event also incorporates other creative mediums with organisers always on the look-out for artists and other creatives keen to showcase their work/talents.

The New Scarborough Live Music Series Needs your Support

Scarborough Originals is a crowdfunded music event which relies upon ongoing donations.

If you’d like to support local budding musos and continue seeing unique local acts each month in Scarborough then grab a raffle ticket at the next concert. This wonderful music and arts event needs your help to become a regular staple on the Redcliffe events calendar.

Raffle tickets can be purchased from the merchandise desk, or from the volunteers scattered around the park during the event.
