Sometimes referred to as “Scarborough’s best-kept secret,” the family-friendly Sift Café is hidden away on Prince Edward Parade in Scarborough. Located near the waterfront, this café near Brisbane which is owned by a husband and wife duo (Sam and Steve) provide nothing but the best local and fresh produce for their customers.

Sift Café is open to the public from 6:30 am to 2:00 pm, seven days a week. Cruise the waterfront in style on Sift Cafe's new eco-friendly electric stand-up e-bike. Grab your mates or your family and coast along Redcliffe Peninsula's iconic ocean front bike path. The long shared pathway stretches over 13km from the Ted Smout Memorial Bridge at the southern end of the Peninsula all the way to Jamieson Park, Scarborough in the north. The electric trikes are available Tuesday through to Sunday.
You can zoom along the foreshore using the electric motor or ride it like a regular scooter using self-propelled power. Perfect for all ages, the unique design provides riders with a low center of gravity, which makes riding safe, stable and virtually untippable. Riders can easily travel between five speed levels with the mode controller. They require less skill or fitness than bike riding, so if it has been a while since you’ve ridden a bike then this new bayside experience is perfect for you!
Trikes can be hired directly from the Sift Cafe team and are $25 per hour. Helmets and hairnets provided. Adventurers are also able to bring their own.

For the husband and wife duo, Sam and Steve, it is the family focus that has inspired this café. They love the art behind food and for them, it’s about delivering exceptional food that is appealing to the eyes of their diners. Their menu features some of their own favourite dishes, and they aim to add their own flair to a few of the classics.
