With a packed calendar of events all year round, there is something for everyone to enjoy. From major festivals, sporting competitions, arts and cultural celebrations, live music and concerts through to an array of family-friendly and community events staged around the Moreton Bay Region.

Moreton Bay Caravan, Camping, Boating & 4x4 Expo

The 2021 Moreton Bay Caravan, Camping, Boating & 4×4 Expo is one of the largest outdoor adventure events in the state. Browse and compare the latest caravans, camper trailers, motorhomes, 4×4’s, vehicles, accessories and more, plus discover new holiday and touring destinations, all in the one convenient location. There’s plenty to see across the weekend, including great entertainment for the whole family.

Park Vibes

Serving up an afternoon of live music, mouthwatering food options and fireworks – it’s the perfect relaxing family fun event in the park. Settle in for an afternoon of laid-back vibes and funky beats. There’s also free rides and a huge fireworks display.

Redcliffe Festival of Sails

Always wonder what you can do on your Easter long weekend? Well, be shore you don’t miss the spectacular Good Friday event, Redcliffe Festival of Sails. Each year, Suttons Beach is turned into a hub of family-friendly activities including the usual food vendors and market stalls but with a special twist! The area is a great viewing spot to catch the start of the Brisbane to Gladstone Yacht Race as well as the landing grounds for the skydiving Easter Bunny!

Hills Festival

This May - experience the best of the Hills District! This year’s Hills Festival is packed full of fun events, activities and will be a blast for the whole family! Four weeks of incredible picnics, movies, shows and so much more.

Samford & Surrounds Arts Trails & Open Studios

Abbey Festival 63

Abbey Medieval Festival

Abbey Medieval Festival is the largest celebration of medieval culture, 600 to 1600AD in Europe and the Middle East, in the southern hemisphere. Held every July, the festival delivers authentic medieval experiences from the Medieval Banquets, a Kids Dig It! Medieval Family Fun Week, to the main 2 day mega medieval event, where history comes alive thanks to re-enactment encampments, workshops, displays and the highlight, the Joust! Information below is for the 2 day event.

Jetty 2 Jetty

The longest-running Fun Run in Queensland and, let’s be honest, one of the most scenic in Brisbane, the Jetty 2 Jetty Fun Run registrations are open now! Be sure to start training now, there’s four race distances to choose from – 3km, 5km, 10km and the 21km half marathon. No matter if this is your first ever fun run, or you're running the half marathon, the J2J is an event for all ages and levels.

Caboolture Festival

In August 2021, Caboolture Festival is set to return!

Get ready for a month of fun, family, food and music as the second annual Caboolture Festival returns.

Caboolture will be a hive of activity during August filled with events set to bring live music, entertainment, family fun, foodie delights and something for all ages to the region. More Information on the Festival will be released in 2020, so stay tuned!

Redcliffe Kitefest Colourful Kites

Redcliffe KiteFest

It’s the annual event that draws over 40,000 attendees across one weekend and it’s back in 2021! Redcliffe KiteFest is without a doubt the most popular family-friendly event on the Redcliffe Peninsula. Drawing in international, interstate and local professional kite flyers, Redcliffe KiteFest also features a jam-packed program of live entertainment that over the years has seen acts like Baby Shark, Paw Patrol, Justice League and PJ Masks. Keep your eyes out for the 2021 headliner announcement!

Strawberry & Dessert Festival

With over 40% of Queensland strawberries coming from our local Moreton Bay Region, our slice of South East Queensland paradise has the perfect excuse to revel in all things Fragaria vesca so bring the family, kick-back and join in the sweet festivities at Sandstone Point Hotel.

With five interactive worlds to explore, the whole family will learn, discover, play and smile all day at the annual Moreton Kids Festival. There’s also live stage shows, workshops, roving performers, food trucks, markets stalls and so much more.
