Moreton Bay Region Interactive Lunch Series presents Three Blue Ducks • Mon Komo Hotel

Friday 23rd August 12:00pm – Friday 23rd August 5:00pm

Come along and listen to Jeff Bennett (founding member) and Andy Allen (2012 MasterChef winner) of the Three Blue Ducks, best known for their work at The Farm (Byron Bay), Rosebery (Sydney) and recently the W Brisbane, as they talk about their journey of conscious consumption, food sustainability and ethically farmed local produce.

This will be a journey of food sustainability and ethically farmed produce from the front runners in conscious consumption. Tickets include a 2-course lunch and beverages, and access to the exclusive networking function.

The Ducks story started with three friends travelling the world, cultivating ideas around a better, more sustainable approach to living. It was here, with a shared belief in good, ethical food, that Three Blue Ducks was hatched.

Since humble beginnings in Bronte 8 years ago, Three Blue Ducks has embarked on an ambitious and rewarding venture in The Farm (Byron Bay), Rosebery (Sydney), and recently the W Brisbane.

A founding member of Three Blue Ducks, Jeff Bennett came up with the original idea that took The Ducks to the next level. Jeff will open up about how the brand evolved from day one to represent the peak of conscious consumption and ethical food.

After almost becoming a fully qualified electrician, Andy took a dare from a mate and entered MasterChef 2012. Eight gruelling months later, he emerged as the youngest ever winner of MasterChef and soon reached out to boys at The Ducks, officially becoming a part of the group in 2016. Hear about Andy's passion for learning and quality, sustainable food.

Connect with key stakeholders and businesses from around the region at the exclusive networking function following the business luncheon. The networking function will run from 2.30pm to 5.00pm. Business Moreton Bay Region Event Series registrations are now open.

This event is proudly supported by Moreton Bay Region Industry & Tourism, and Moreton Bay Regional Council.
