Build a Bribie Lego Fort

Time to dust of your Lego and get fort building!

Fort Bribie’s war bunkers defended Queensland from enemy warships during World War II. To acknowledge the 75th anniversary of the end of World War II we are inviting people young and old to build a Lego fort like those located on North Bribie, or to design your own. Use your engineering skills to create a fort that is stable in a sandy and windy landscape, that would protect troops and equipment.

Once you are happy with your build take a photo and email it to the museum or bundle it up safely and bring it to the museum for a photo shoot in our sand dune diorama. We would love to see your design!
