Join the Woodford Lions Club for their annual Christmas Carnival that has been a feature of the Woodford community for the past 12 years. Each year brings something new and exciting to the holiday event!
In 2019, the annual Christmas Parade brings along a Petting Zoo, Roving Musical Trio, Num-Bums, a Ukelele group, local girls dance team, the Human Trolley Bus and lots more!
It wouldn't be a family event without a great food offering. Joining the Christmas Carnival this year are crowd favourites Neshama and Sushi to the Maxx plus plenty more that cater to gluten-free and vegetarian diets!
This community Christmas event proudly supports local business owners, with more than half of the stallholders coming from the Moreton Bay Region.
The Woodford Community Art and Museum is also open on the night, just a few steps from the market. Interesting Woodford history and displaying the talent of the local artists.
Archer Street is closed from 4pm to 9pm to give the markets goers the comfort of roam amongst the stalls and food vans.
Plenty of free parking along D’Agular Highway and behind the Community Hall off Margaret Street.

The Woodford Lions Club has 24 members and focuses on the local needs of the community, with a focus on supporting events which provide opportunities for all community members to participate in and be a part of their community. Our current Weed Free Woodford project is focussed on the needs of local land owners and the environmental impact of weeds in our region. The Woodford Night Markets are an integral part of the community development and community participation focus which provides opportunity for businesses and community members to enjoy all that the Woodford town has to offer.
