Previously Boab Boat Hire, Boating Planet is the leading Redcliffe boat hire specialists, provide Moreton Bay thrill-seekers with the best quality boat, snorkeling, fishing and water sports gear available to hire on the Redcliffe Peninsula, along with licensing services for boat and jetski owners.
Boating Planet Redcliffe offers 3 different boats for hire, allowing customers to enjoy their chosen vessel or watercraft for one day, over the weekend, the whole week, or even longer. A Boat Licence is required for all the boats (except the Runabout). If you don't hold a Boat Licence you can only skipper the Runabout in rivers.
Best of all, if you don’t want to (or can’t) tow it away yourself, Boating Planet can deliver the vessel to any destination on the Redcliffe peninsula, including Redcliffe Jetty, launching it and retrieving it for you if required. Boating Planet will even wash and refuel the boat when you’re done! It's that simple!
All required safety gear is included in your hire along with depth sounder and GPS units with pre-loaded fishing marks.
The boats in the hire fleet are capable of fishing offshore areas such as The Wrecks - Moreton Island, Moreton Bay, Pine River, Brisbane River, Somerset Dam, Pumicestone Passage, Hutchison Shoal, Shallow and Deep Tempest and Flinders Reef. Whether your day involves fishing, diving, whale watching, sightseeing, cruising, or action-packed water sports, Boating Planet have you covered.
All boats can be taken to Moreton Island. The Kimberly and Sportsrider can be taken as far out as Moreton Island's eastern side. All boats come with an esky of ice, as well as adult and child life jackets. Any required fishing gear and bait, and any desired water sporting equipment such as tubes, waterskis and boards can be supplied upon request for an additional fee.
