Looking for IKEA stores Brisbane North? Come to North Lakes Westfield!
IKEA provides a range of home furnishing products which are affordable for everyone by combining function, quality, design and value, always with sustainability in mind.
The 29,000 square metre, 2 storey IKEA store is 1 of only 2 Queensland IKEA outlets. You’ll find it at the end of Westfield’s newly opened concourse extension housing a whole range of shops including ‘mini majors’ and over 60 specialty stores.
The North Lakes IKEA is so much more than just a store, it features a combined showroom and market hall space, a self-serve warehouse, a Swedish Food Market and Bistro, and a 400+ seat IKEA restaurant serving the iconic IKEA meatball!
Though the Swedish furniture behemoth specialises in flat pack offerings, you can also find compact decorative indoor and outdoor home items, and other assorted items such as bicycles, kids toys, arts & crafts and much more.
The 2017 IKEA stores Brisbane catalogue features a diverse range of furniture and homewares boasting 500 new products (with 9,200 products in-store in total) all available from the new North Lakes outlet.
IKEA family members get 10% to 40% off on IKEA’s range of selected planet-friendly products, enjoy member only discounts on a range of IKEA restaurant meals, and get inclusive invites to home furnishing workshops and events.

Founder & Senior Advisor Ingvar Kamprad plans to have the new IKEA store operating completely ‘off the grid’ by 2020.
The new outlet has 1600 solar panels installed to produce about a quarter of the store’s power, joining IKEA’s nationwide grid of 19,000 solar panels and reducing IKEA’s carbon footprint and running costs.
Currently, the company’s Australian network generates enough energy to power 967 homes, or take close to 2500 cars off the road.
IKEA North Lakes’ green energy goals also include other forward thinking, environmentally responsible actions.
The North Lakes outlet uses newly designed paper pallets instead of wooden pallets to minimise shipping expenses and environmental impact, along with an integrated LED lighting system of 10,000 energy efficient bulbs consuming around 85% less energy than other lighting options.
It also operates two $80,000 food composters (taking heed from the Logan store). The new composters turn the food wastage produced by IKEA’s North Lakes and Logan outlets into fertiliser to be used by farms and schools all over the Sunshine Coast.
