Seasonal Brisbane Strawberry Picking

During strawberry season (June - October) head 45 minutes north of Brisbane CBD to a little town near Caboolture, named Wamuran, for a beautiful day frolicking in the fields. Pack a hat and sunscreen and book in to join a Peckish Picking session, where you’ll enjoy the magic of eating luscious berries straight from the plant as you fill your 500g container to take home. Arrive by 11.30am and hear about the history of Luvaberry on one of the free farm gate tours, during which you’ll be let in on the secrets of all the different varieties of strawberries grown there. Panda's Playtime also kicks off at 11.30am, a fun filled hour with Farm Dog 'Panda' strawberry picking and playing games on the farm. Activities are supervised by a Blue Card Luvaberry team member.

  • Peckish Picking session can be booked here.

We suggest checking Luvaberry's Facebook Page here before travelling to ensure their strawberry fields are open to pickers.

They’re strawberries that taste like they used to – sweet, delicious and packed with flavour.

Numbers at each session are limited so guests can enjoy the full experience of being at one with nature as they choose their own berries at leisure, bathed by golden sunshine.

Alternatively, visitors just wanting to PYO without eating strawberries in the field are encouraged to arrive at the farm in the afternoons, cost is $12 per kg.

Afterwards, spread a blanket, kick back and relax with a BYO picnic in the delightful grounds of the strawberry farm Caboolture.

Sweet online offerings

Luvaberry Farm might be steeped in tradition but the Schultz family has embraced technology to create frozen and freeze-dried products as part of their war on waste.

Luvaberry’s online shop allows you to keep the memories of your Brisbane strawberry picking experience alive.

There’s raspberry, strawberry and blueberry dust – just 25g of the magical dust is the equivalent to a 250g punnet of berries! Or try the freeze-dried berry crunch varieties, which are perfect for a guilt- (and sugar) free snack packed with all the goodness of their fresh counterparts.

For the ultimate in decadent treats, try a strawberry chocolate heaven bundle - handmade ornate chocolate crafted by infusing Swiss white chocolate Luvaberry’s very own strawberry dust paired with a bag of whole freeze-dried strawberries encased in Swiss white chocolate and coated with strawberry dust.

Every bar of chocolate contains the equivalent of a 200g punnet of fresh fruit – so you can indulge without the guilt!
