One of Australia’s most breathtaking wedding locations, Maleny Retreat Weddings is a cherished place for ceremonies, events and marquee receptions.

Nestled along the Sunshine Coast border in Boroobin, Maleny Retreat is 15 minutes south of Maleny and 90 minutes north of Brisbane in the Moreton Bay Hinterland, with Brisbane Airport only 60 minutes away.

Offering 100 acres of mountain beauty, panoramic views of the Glasshouse Mountains, avenues of green and groves of forest, Maleny Retreat is the perfect canvas for your special day.

Not only can you have your ceremony on-site, but you can have your reception as well as accommodation booked in too!

Retreats

Adjoining the stunning Bellthorpe National Park, Maleny Retreat also doubles as a serene location for small intimate retreats and gatherings. The gathering space accommodates groups of up to 14 people, with additional space provided by Tent Village, which features 20 permanent tents for up to 40 extra guests, volunteers, and staff.

There are spaces for workshops, talks and small seminars.

For larger workshops and retreat functions, we provide Marquee Packages. Marquees can be setup near the magnificent views of the Glasshouse Mountains and furnished to suit the type of workshop or seminar being provided.

The Guesthouse

The onsite Guesthouse offers accommodation for up to 14 guests and makes Maleny Retreat the ideal wedding location for out-of-towners. There’s also plenty of scope for campers and extra guests to stay for the night (or two!)

The bedrooms are fully furnished with writing desks, chairs, lamps, beds, comfy sofa chairs and ottomans. Rooms are accessed by their own french doors via the deck, which wraps around the entire building.

The Guest House is also ideal for the Bride or Groom to get dressed the morning of the wedding.

Maleny Retreat is a retreat destination dedicated to peace, the environment, re-energising the spirit, learning, sharing and creativity.
