Sharing Their Mathematical Legacy

With a combined experience of over 50 years in mathematics education, Dr Calvin and Rosemary have established a remarkable legacy in the field. Originally from the U.S., they taught and studied in various states before settling in Australia. Their tenure at Queensland University of Technology significantly impacted mathematics curricula for primary schools.

These dedicated educators have authored and co-authored 600+ books and articles in mathematics, with Dr Calvin continuing to contribute to the field through writing. Their lifelong dedication to the subject led to the accumulation of a vast collection of mathematical artefacts, artwork, books, and more. With no children of their own to share it with, they have decided to share this treasure trove with the community through the Mathema Gallery.
