Woodford Showgrounds Camping

Woodford Showgrounds Camping

38 Neurum Road Woodford, Queensland

Are you an avid explorer looking for your next adventure? Woodford Showgrounds, conveniently located in proximity to many of Woodford's local attractions, is an affordable caravan camping grounds near Brisbane suitable for big rigs and large groups.

The Woodford region is steeped in history and retains much of its yesteryear charm. The historic pub still stands proudly on the main road through town, while quaint turn-of-the-century buildings house quirky shops and eateries throughout the shopping precinct. A heritage railway and a historical museum proudly testify to the region’s diverse past.

Once home to thriving dairy and timber industries, Woodford is slowly becoming more urbanised as new housing subdivisions are developed. But it still feels like the country and is one of only a few towns that still have weekly cattle sales in the yards in the main street.
