Covering almost 88 hectares of land, Buckley’s Hole Conservation Park at Bribie Island contains a freshwater lagoon, woodland, open forest and beach. A bird-watchers paradise, there are more than 190 species of birdlife that call the conservation park home.
The ever-changing landscape of Buckley’s Hole Conservation Park allows for different species of fish and diverse bait in the waterhole. Coupled with the fact that it is not an overfished area, Buckley’s Hole is a fisherman’s delight.
The park is accessible from The Boulevard or via the track that runs from Tully Street to Red Beach.
