At 1,676m from start to finish the Lake Eden Trail take about 20 minutes to walk, and those who make the time will not be disappointed. Whether morning or afternoon, the walk features stunning views of the lake and a water’s edge teeming with wildlife.
Town Park Lake Eden features a timber viewing platform and rock terrace grassed area with beautiful lake views. This space has become very popular for wedding ceremonies and other functions. Patrons are able to contact the Moreton Bay Regional Council for bookings.
Lake Eden has no fewer than three parks and playgrounds situated around it. Children will not be left wanting with the numerous play equipment and large grassed areas in which they can play. Many areas also feature soft bark flooring to that added element of comfort.
Visitors will often see boot camps and fitness groups making use of the large grassed areas and multi-level surfaces to punch out the ultimate workout.
The banks of Lake Eden are home to countless water birds and other wildlife. The kids will love nature watching as they make their way around the walkway. Keep a special eye out for the swans and ducks that are often seen playing in the water.
