Wildflowering by Design | Bribie Island

12:00am - 12:00am 8th September 2024

Wildflowering by Design | Bribie Island

Wildflowering by Design explores contemporary responses to our botanical and wildflower heritage.

It presents works by Queensland female artists who work across the art and design spectrum. Taking a fresh look at the historical legacy and engaging with local landscapes, the artists have created new, re-imagined works and visions.

Through bringing nature into people’s homes and lives, we help create a ‘botanical culture’. This builds broader awareness of our native ‘wildflower’ heritage and appreciation for Country.

Exhibition curated by Doctor Sue Davis and Doctor Lisa Chandler.
