A Piece of History

As the longest running community-based arts and crafts association in the Moreton Bay Region, Hay Cottage has long been a place of interest for its historical value. Representing the oldest surviving privately constructed residence in the Moreton Bay Region, Hay Cottage was originally built in 1869 as a worker’s cottage. It was eventually sold to Charles Hay and his wife, where they raised their five children before the family moved on and the cottage was relocated to its present location.

Explore Dayboro

One of the Moreton Bay Region’s favourite little hinterland villages, Dayboro is situated in a valley of the D’Aguilar Range. With a population of less than 2,000 residents, Dayboro is a quaint township where many hobby farmers have settled. Test your vehicles limits in the challenged four-wheel drive tracks of Mount Mee Forest Reserve, wine and dine in the beautiful vineyard at Ocean View Estates or take a summer dip in the natural swimming hole Rocky Hole.
