Ocean View Estates Dining

Local produce paired with estate-made wines, is there anything more tantalising? From mouth-watering entrees to delightfully tender and juicy mains, finishing off with a sugary dessert treat, Ocean View Estates is a premier fine dining restaurant in the Moreton Bay Region hinterland near Brisbane.

Dine in the Award-Winning 5-Star Restaurant

Enjoy the stunning ambience of the 5-star Ocean View Estates restaurant with a menu that perfectly matches their exquisite wines. Run by creative and passionate chef, Tony Tierney, the restaurant is always serving up some slightly Japanese French fusions while the laid-back style of the Binary is all about tasting locally brewed craft beer and estate-grown (and made) wine. Stay put after a long lunch and take in the views of the surrounding hills, nearby lake and the vines themselves.

Head Chef Joel Grudnoff and Chief Wine Maker/Owner Thomas Honnef have also put together a selection of Joel’s favourite dishes matched with Thomas’ hand-selected wines to create a four and six-course degustation option to delight the most discerning palates, or for those who just can’t make up their minds!

Check out the menu here.

Vine & Bine Experience

Did you know that a grape grows on a vine and hops grow on a bine? With a perfectly selected range of delicious tastes matched with handcrafted wines and estate brewed beers, the Vine & Bine experience at Ocean View Estates is unlike any other. Enjoy local produce prepared by experienced head chef, Joel Grudnoff, including local fish, pork belly, soft shell crab, mushroom dumplings or a slow-cooked brisket.

Join the family rivalry between wine and beer, dad and daughter and follow “The Fight of the Ferment” where you get to be the judge.

Tour the Ocean View Estates Vineyard and Brewery

When it comes to vineyard tours, there’s an option to suit every visitor. You can take a brief look around, or spend a full afternoon strolling through the grounds of this breathtaking location to learn everything you’ve ever wanted to know about wine. The winemakers (viticulturists) and brewmasters at Ocean View Brewing Company will be delighted to share their passion for their crafts. Vineyard and brewery tours operate daily at 11.00am and cost $5.00 (free for dining patrons and overnight guests).

Head Chef Joel Grudnoff

Growing up on a small farm in northern NSW, Joel's culinary career started early with respect and understanding for fresh produce learned at a young age. Joel completed his apprenticeship in Bryon Bay at Rae's on Wategoes. Over the past 15 years, Joel has developed his skills in some of Queensland's best restaurants.

With a passion to support local producers, Joel showcases the freshest ingredients in a sophisticated yet uncomplicated way. Joel loves experimenting to create fabulous dishes with what is seasonally grown and harvested from the Ocean View Estates herb, vegetable and fruit orchards.
