Annual Pine Rivers Show

Home to the annual Pine Rivers Show every August, the Pine Rivers Showgrounds transforms into a carnival-inspired space. Organised and held thanks to the wonderful team at the Pine Rivers Show Society since 1891, this 3-day event is the longest-running show in the Moreton Bay Region.

Offering locals and visitors to the Moreton Bay Region an opportunity to experience a weekend of family fun entertainment such as the classic Side Show Alley, Rodeo, Fireworks and Motorbike Stunt Show, the Pine Rivers Show has been a staple for over 100 years.

While the first Show’s outdoor events were held in Alexander Wylie’s Farm Paddock (located where Wylie and Mathieson Parks are today in Petrie) and the indoor events held in the Petrie School of Arts building, the show is now completely operated from the Pine Rivers Showgrounds.

A fantastic family-orientated event celebrating creative minds, Aussie vehicles and all things country, the Pine Rivers Show encourages you to round up your family and bring your friends along too for a great day out in the Moreton Bay Region hinterland near Brisbane.
