Vietnam Veterans Place | Kallangur

The large Vietnam Veterans Place, part of Anzac Memorial Avenue, dedication rock carries a plaque with replica medals. This little Anzac park site is nestled away from the noisy road behind a line of hedges and palm trees in the corner of Anzac Avenue and Duffield Rd at Kallangur QLD - it consists of a dedication rock, Roll of Honour and flag station.

Take a stroll into this Anzac park along the footpath consisting of pavers signifying all the major units which served in Vietnam.

The pavers were hand punched by members of the VVAA Bne Nth Sub Branch and donated by PGH.

Dedication Rock Medal Replicas

The large Vietnam Veterans Place dedication rock carries a plaque with the replica medals of the British General Service Medal post 62, Vietnam Campaign Medal, AASM, Vietnam Medal and the Vietnam Logistics Support Medal, as well as, replicas of the unit citations bestowed: US Navy Commendation, Vietnam Cross of Gallantry with palm, USA Meritorious Service Citation, US Navy Meritorious Unit Citation and the US Air Force Outstanding Unit Award with Combat V Device and 3 flag poles.

Roll of Honour Plaques

To the left of this Anzac monument tribute is another hefty rock holding 4 Roll of Honour plaques imprinted with the names of Anzac soldiers.
