From petting zoos to soundproof playgrounds, we are truly lucky to have such wonderful family-friendly restaurants in the Moreton Bay Region. The array of restaurants in the region means never running out new, fresh, and locally-sourced dishes to try. Not only great for foodies, but the following restaurants are also well-equipped and prepared to keep your little ones entertained.

Bribie Island Hotel

This iconic Bribie Island Hotel has a fresh new look but with the same laid-back atmosphere you know and love. Soak in the sunshine with family and friends in their brand new Beer Garden with a spacious grassed area for the kids to run around. Gather on the outdoor deck, catch a live game on one the screens in the sports bar or enjoy a delicious pub meal in the restored bistro.

With a dedicated kids menu, colouring pad and kids playroom your little ones WILL NOT be bored.

Parents can match your meal with one of the many beers on tap, or a glass of wine from the curated wine list. Making a night of it? Sip on one of their classic cocktails.

Sandstone Point Hotel

With a menu dictated by the season, you’ll always be able to try a new dish with the family at Sandstone Point Hotel. Bring the kids along to wear out some energy in the massive outdoor playground or run around and play a sport on the grassed area.

When it comes time to eat, you can dine on the terraced alfresco area, inside the bistro, or outside where you can overlook Pumicestone Passage. Be sure to check out the Oyster Shed located right on the water where you can pick up fish and chips for the family. A kid’s menu is available inside at the restaurant.

Eatons Hill Hotel - Newest on the Block

If you’re heading to Eatons Hill Hotel for lunch, an event, or even staying at the accommodation facilities, bring the kids along to try out the newest addition – the kid’s room with a giant indoor playground! From slides, climbing nets, video games and even a kid’s theatre. The little ones will think they’re being spoiled rotten - it may even be a task to pull them away in the end. Additional children's entertainment is available on Monday nights. The restaurant provides a kids menu.

Norths Leagues and Services Club - Restaurant Playground

Boasting four dining areas including a sports lounge and vibrant outdoor seating area, the Norths Leagues and Services Club located on Anzac Avenue, Kallangur also has a Jungle themed playground.

The Jungle ticks all the boxes with multi-level play equipment, TV, iPads AND fully supervised for kids aged 3-13 during the below times: Monday – Thursday: 5pm - 9pm, Friday: 5pm - 10pm, Saturday: 11:30am – 9pm, Sunday: 11:30am – 9pm. First in best dressed. Children under 3 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. The Jungle facilities are available unsupervised for all Norths members from 9:30am - 10pm daily.

The restaurant also supplies a kid’s menu.

The Belvedere Hotel - Beachfront Dining

As the home of celebrations, The Belvedere Hotel, Woody Point, is adequately prepared for all occasions and guests. With a breakfast, lunch and dinner menu you can find little bites specifically for the kids, not to mention the incredible playground out on the alfresco deck dining area! Across the way from the beach, you can spend your day out and about with family before stopping by The Bel for some mouth-watering dishes that look almost too good to eat!

Cross the road and visit Crockatt Park decked out with a seesaw, swings and even a flying fox!

PLEASE NOTE: The Belvedere has re-opened the bistro side of their venue as at September 25, 2023. The remainder of the renovations will be complete in a couple of months.

Beachmere Hotel - Endless Kids Entertainment

While you sit back and relax, catching up with friends or family, your kids will remain occupied for hours on end at Beachmere Hotel’s kid’s playground and indoor kid’s room. Stocking fresh and seasonal produce, your taste buds will be more than satisfied with the diverse menu options and daily dining specials – even the kids won’t complain about their menu!

In the warmer months, we recommend sitting out on the alfresco dining area for a cool, coastal breeze, and moving to the inviting atmosphere of the indoor tables for winter.

Samford Hotel - Playground, Trampoline & Games Room

Rest assured a visit to Samford will be well worth the drive. With an outdoor playground, springfree trampoline, games room and an extensive kid’s menu Samford Hotel will keep the little ones smiling ear to ear.
