The friendly team at Graze will be able to point you in the direction of some epic hinterland picnic spots, or if you want to make your picnic a little more special (and/or romantic), then get them to set up a styled picnic for you. That means all you have to do is arrive, enjoy the scrumptious local produce (and soak in the views) and leave.

Visit LuvaBerry Farm Friends for a delightful experience of locally grown strawberries or explore the fun of picking your own at Rolin Farm. Located in the Moreton Bay Region, just a short drive from the Caboolture turn-off, both farms offer a chance to enjoy the winter sun and the sweetness of fresh strawberries right from the source.

Rolin Farms

A small family-owned working strawberry farm, Rolin Farms offers a ‘Pick Your Own’ experience (from June till October) coupled with a wonderful selection of strawberry-inspired goodies, such as farm-made strawberry jams and blended ‘real fruit’ strawberry ice-creams #yum.

If you have a newfound love for indoor plants, Strawberry Farmer Rob has a passion for orchids, with plants his lovingly propagated available for purchase onsite.

LuvaBerry

At LuvaBerry, discover a wide range of fresh produce and unique products beyond their famous strawberries. From finger limes and passionfruit to locally made chutney, goat cheese, and Australian Native Bee Honey, there's a variety to explore. Owner Mandy has developed delicious strawberry-inspired goodies, including freeze-dried berries and chocolate bars. While direct farm visits are a treat, their online and in-store offerings allow you to enjoy these delights anytime, ensuring you don't miss out on the berry-delicious range.

All blooms in Burpengary

Explore the culinary herb farm of Basilea Living Herbs, where farmer Sarah not only grows delicious gourmet herbs, salad mustards and spinach greens, but also edible flowers! Best of all, Sarah hosts a Basilea Open Farm Day once a month, providing the public an opportunity to visit her farm and purchase from her diverse range of edible plants.

Open: Every 3rd Saturday of the month 8am to 1pm

Eat your way through Mount Mee

Heading up to the hinterland, be sure to take the scenic drive to Mount Mee via Campbells Pocket Road, stopping along the way to purchase some unique local farm produce.

Little White Goats Cheese

Like a goat, you’ll be heading ‘off the beaten track’ to visit the Farm Gate Stall of Little White Goats Cheese. 100% Australian Made by farmer Karen, this Persian Fetta is loved by local chefs and is delicious when paired with berry products or finger limes from LuvaBerry.

Besides goat cheese, you can also purchase handmade goat soaps by Karen’s granddaughter, along with a variety of local seasonal fruits and vegetables, such as bananas, pineapple and sweet potato from their Farm Gate Stall (cash-only).

For a culinary experience out of the ordinary, check out Little White Goats Cheese premium - ‘Freeze Dried Feta’. This world-first product is not available for purchase from the Farm Gate but can be pre-purchased via the website.

Special note: Visitors are not permitted into growing areas or to visit the goats.

Blue Dog Farm

Nourish your body with gourmet salad from the Blue Dog Farm Stall. Pull over on your way to Dayboro and purchase a bag of Farmer Jackie’s tastiest greens, along with other seasonal produce, such as mouse melons! All produce is organic, with the garden tended by Jackie’s loving hands.

A great believer in collaboration and supply of quality ethical products to the community, Farmer Jackie developed the Dayboro Reko Ring, which is essentially an online farmers market for producers to sell directly to customers. Anyone is welcome to purchase details here.

One of the region's pioneers of local produce is Ocean View Estates, where Head Chef Joel Grudnoff is passionate about supporting local producers and showcasing the freshest ingredients, including produce from the estate’s orchard and vegetable gardens.

Enhance your experience by booking a ‘Behind the Scenes’ Vineyard & Winery tour, which includes Ocean View Estates wine tastings. Be sure to visit the cellar door before heading home, to purchase one of the award-winning wines, hand-crafted by Chief Winemaker Thomas Honnef.
