Kakadu Organics provides a space where visitors can come and try a wide range of native foods while also learning more about bush food that the Aboriginal people have eaten and thrived on for thousands of years.

Located in the charming town of Samford in the Moreton Bay Hinterland, Kakadu Organics welcome all visitors to feast on their delectable menu of nutritious juices, smoothies and meals, as well as browse the many Indigenous-created gifts which are on display.

Healthy and wholesome meals

The owners of Kakadu Organics pride themselves on serving fresh, tasty and wholesome food.

If you’re looking for a drink on the go, Kakadu Organics serve up colourful and organic juices that are jam packed with fresh fruit and vegetables, all of which are made in store.

Their menu also boasts many gourmet salads and homemade soups, including their specialty -pumpkin, wild garlic and wattle seed soup, which has been slow roasted for 36 hours.

Inside the display cabinet you will also find little goodies such as homemade banana bread, slices, rolls and more.

Kakadu Organics also sell their own brand of jams and chutneys which they have proudly named Kakadu Tucker, which means you can take a taste of Kakadu Organics home with you.

Products include Native Davidson’s plum jam, native quandong and mango chutney, as well as native sea celery mustard pickle.

Kakadu Tucker is Indigenous owned and operated.

If you enjoy relaxing with a hot cuppa, you can also choose from Kakadu’s organic bush tea, which is made with 100 per cent Australian ingredients.

Supporting Indigenous creators

Kakadu Organic also have a unique website called Kakadu Tiny Tots, which is jam packed with wellness and native food products, which in turn supports female Indigenous creators.

When in store, shoppers can browse the array of gifts on display, which are suitable for all occasions, or jump online and purchase items all year round.

Many of the beautiful items for sale include wraps, bibs, baby bundles, gift packs, soaps, candles, bush balms, shows, t-shirts, skincare and other eco products, such as pouches, yoga mats, bags and jewelry.
