Each morning you’ll awake to the sound of whip birds and magnificent views through majestic hoop pines and rose gums to the rainforest below making Turkey’s Nest an ideal romantic escape, or family retreat.
The cottages offer absolute privacy and seclusion, while the Macadamia Rainforest Suite sports its own private entrance from the house veranda and features a clawfoot bath with rainforest views from the tub.

Mount Glorious is home to over 80 species of birds. Over the years about 40 of these species have been sighted at Turkey’s Nest. The veranda of the main house welcomes numerous varieties daily, all coming for a feed including Australian King Parrots, crimson rosellas, bowerbirds, red-browed finches, sulphur-crested cockatoos and kookaburras.
Keen bird spotters can obtain binoculars and bird identification books from Turkey’s Nest for on-site bird watching.
Enjoy peaceful nature walks? The property is home to its own private rainforest walk so you can soak up the sounds and sights of this serene haven at your leisure.
