Get Active and Hit the Trail

You don't need first class road cycling technology to ride in Moreton Bay.

This 10km (one way) scenic track extends from Beerburrum Road in Caboolture to Atwood Street in Wamuran and showcases the history of the railway while also providing quality shared pathway. It's the Caboolture to Wamuran Rail Trail and it's calling your name!

The Caboolture to Wamuran Rail Trail is a great place for a weekend adventure or an afternoon walk or ride kitted out with the following facilities.

  • Bike air pump
  • Park seating
  • Park shelters
  • Water fountain
  • Map of trail
  • Historical panels

Please note there are no toilets, public toilets can be found at the Caboolture Trail Station or Caboolture Town Square.

Frolic in the Strawberry Fields

You simply can’t spend spring in Moreton Bay without visiting one of our oh so special strawberry fields. Filled with warm, juicy, ready-to-eat strawberries, pick your way around the farm before taking home your own stash for later. Luvaberry Farm

Head just 45 minutes north of Brisbane to LuvaBerry Farm to pick your own strawberries, go on a tour of the farm gate, or sample the selection of strawberry and chocolate covered treats on offer. Don't forget the picnic banked and snacks! LuvaBerry's got you covered with the perfect picnic spots.

Rolin Farms

Enjoy a day out in the spring sun with pick your own strawberries at this family owned working strawberry farm Rolin Farms. Stop by the shop to pick up your wooden basket before heading out to the fields to enjoy a 'Pick Your Own’ experience. Also find a wonderful selection of strawberry inspired goodies, such as farm made strawberry jams and blended ‘real fruit’ strawberry ice-creams #yum.

Baby animals means only one thing...spring is here! These farms throw open their gates for visitors and allow you to pat, feed and cuddle their animals.

White Ridge Farm

Don your farmers hat and head 45 minutes north of Brisbane CBD to where you can hug a lamb, hold a chick and meet a piglet this spring. Take a peek into life on a farm at White Ridge Farm.

You’re able to hand-feed many of the animals and the kids will love doling out their bucket of feed to their new-found furry friends. Jump on a tractor ride or allow your little one to enjoy a pony ride.

Lyell Deer Sanctuary

Hidden in the hills 40 minutes north-west of Brisbane CBD you'll find a gorgeous property home to a small herd of rescued deer; a motley crew of red, rusa and fallow deer. At this time of year the team from Lyell Deer Sanctuary often welcome a number of fawns to the family. If you time your visit right you might just find yourself in the presence of one of these precious babies.

This peaceful little hideaway in the beautiful Samford Valley, is a popular destination for adults and children alike, offering education, serenity, and a truly unique experience. The Lyell Deer Sanctuary has been caring for deer for over thirty years, and attracts visitors who want to get close to these magical creatures in a peaceful and beautiful setting. You can cuddle, sit with and hand feed the deer.

Trevena Glen Farm

Get up close and personal with alpacas, donkeys, chickens, guinea pigs, goats, pigs, sheep, cows, and horses at Trevena Glen Farm this spring only 35 minutes north of Brisbane CBD. The family run farm welcomes animal lovers of all ages to pat and feed the farm animals, enjoy horse and tractor rides, watch demonstrations, purchase coffee and drinks.
