Farm Open Day

Trevena's monthly Farm Open Day is held on the second Saturday of each month. Say hello to an alpaca, donkeys, chickens, guinea pigs, goats, pigs, sheep, cows, and horses! Event numbers are capped so to guarantee entry it is recommended you pre-purchase tickets online.

Animal lovers of all ages are welcome to pat and feed the farm animals, enjoy tractor rides and horse rides, watch demonstrations, purchase coffee & drinks, and dig into BBQ snags.

Horse Riding Lessons

Book in for Beginner & Intermediate Horse Riding Lessons Samford surrounds. Choose from Horse Riding Day Camps, or 2 Day Camps. A range of ponies and horses are available catering from beginner level through to intermediate. All riding trainers have horse industry experience and are continually honing their skills working alongside the head coach.

Specific learning plans are tailored to each student, with most lessons one-on-one and all riding gear provided. Prices start from as little as $50 per 30 min a week (pre-purchased term blocks only).

Kids Birthday Parties

Does your child have a birthday coming up, keen to hire a farm for a party? Then call Trevena Glen! You can choose from various party packages which include tractor trailer rides, exclusive use of the ‘party shed’, access to a large fenced outdoor area, use of trampoline & play equipment, plus handling and feeding of farm animals and party games.

You can add optional extras such as catering/birthday cake, mini pony decorating, pony rides or sulky rides, a jumping castle, and much more. Basic packages start from $350 for up to 10 children.

School, Day Care and Kindy Excursions/Tours and After School Care Programs

A tailored ‘hands-on’ farm experience is both greatly enjoyable and educational.

Generally these experiences last 3 to 4 hours with time allowed for morning tea & lunch. They include large and small horse riding with opportunities for grooming, small farm animal encounters and large animal feeding complete with tractor trailer rides.

School Holiday Horse Hire & Arena Use

  • ‘Hire a Horse’ for $40 per hour during the school holidays to practice riding skills in the arena.
  • Own your own horse/pony? You can hire out the 40x20 metre arena for $25 per hour to put your horse through their paces.
